It is likely that organisations who wish to buy eco products will also want to get involved in other initiatives that will help the environment, such as recycling, saving energy and reducing their carbon footprint. Here are some ideas of things you can implement or talk to customers about:

• Re-use delivery boxes, collect them from your clients to re-use or invest in delivery crates that will last ages
• Reduce pollution by delivering once a week instead of daily – agree a weekly delivery slot with your customers
• Help customers implement a recycling programme, get sales of recycling bins and build a relationship whilst you are at it
• Recycle inkjet and toners and donate the profits to charity
• Make clear and relevant environmental statements on your website
• Make an environmental policy – see sample enclosed
• Offer a reward for people when they make their first green purchase – put them in a draw to win something!
• Tell everyone about your eco efforts: Van signage, website, letterheads, local press, put information in your reception area, corporate brochure etc. It can only do good!
